Student Conduct & Academic Integrity Programs is responsible for enforcing policies which apply to students. The "Grounds for Discipline" are listed in Section 102.00 of the University of California Policies Applying to Campus Activities, Organizations and Students. The procedures which are followed at UCR in order to enforce these policies are explained in the Administration of Standards of Conduct. When a student is found responsible for violating a policy, they are assigned various sanctions in order to educate and hold them accountable them regarding their responsibilities as a member of the community. They must complete these sanctions in accordance with guidelines set forth in their sanction letter and the Sanction Completion Guidelines.
There are many policies which students are expected to follow as members of the UCR community. Some of these are explained below. It is the expectation of the University that students will proactively educate themselves regarding policies which may apply to them.
