Multi-Media Teaching Tool

The Multi-Media Teaching Tool (MITT) is a CD-based educational program which explores many types and aspects of Academic Misconduct, including cheating, plagiarism, unauthorized collaboration, the effect on the student and the effect of Academic Misconduct on the institution and society.  The MITT is assigned to students who have been found responsible for violating the Academic Misconduct policy.  There are two versions of the MITT, the Little MITT and the Full MITT.  The Little MITT takes approximately three to four (3-4) hours to complete, and the Full MITT takes approximately six to eight (6-8) hours to complete.

Please keep the following things in mind in regards to the MITT:

  1. Students are expected to fully read and follow the instructions included for the MITT. 
  2. Students who fail to properly follow directions risk being required to complete the MITT again.
  3. Once you have checked out the MITT, you will only be allowed to have it for a week.
  4. Students with questions or concerns or student who are experiencing difficulty after reading the instructions are expected to contact Student Judicial Affairs for assistance. 
  5. When planning to complete deadlines, extensions will not be granted for individuals who have failed to follow directions and/or properly schedule their time.
